Kilimanjaro treks

Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, stands at 5,895 meters above sea level. As one of the Seven Summits and a non-technical trekking peak, it offers a great introduction to high-altitude mountaineering.
However, Kilimanjaro should not be underestimated. The average annual summit success rate across all tour operators ranges between 70% and 80%. Are you ready for the experience of a lifetime?
Mount Meru treks
Mount Meru, a 4,566-meter dormant stratovolcano, is located 70 kilometers (43 miles) west of Kilimanjaro in the southeast Arusha Region. As the fifth-highest mountain peak in Africa, it’s an excellent practice climb for Kilimanjaro or a perfect option for those with only 4 days to spare and a comfortable trek option as you will be staying in huts instead of tents. Plus Meru is far less crowded than Kilimanjaro. Meru summit also provides some scrambling experience unlike Kilimanjaro summit.
Mount Meru towers over Arusha National Park, offering stunning views and a chance to see an array of wildlife on your trek. It’s approximately a 7-hour drive from Nairobi or just 2 hours from Kilimanjaro/Moshi by car.
