Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings with Kenge Expeditions Ltd., including Kilimanjaro trekking packages and related services. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms.
Emergency Evacuation and Insurance
All our treks include an emergency evacuation surcharge and evacuation via stretcher and 4×4 vehicle. However, hospital charges and helicopter evacuation are not covered by Kenge Expeditions Ltd. Therefore, all clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers high-altitude trekking above 5,000 meters (up to 5,895 meters). Please verify that your policy includes this coverage before your trip.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
We are committed to supporting you throughout your trek and will do our utmost to help you reach the summit. However, please note the following refund policies:
- No Refunds:
- If you are unable to reach the summit or choose to discontinue the trek for any reason.
- If our staff determines that it is unsafe for you to continue the trek.
- If you exhibit any abusive behavior (physical or verbal) toward our staff, which will result in immediate termination of the service.
- Cancellation Refunds:
- More than 14 days before the trip start date: Full refund.
- Less than 14 days before the trip start date: 50% refund or transfer to an alternative date.
- Less than 7 days before the trip start date: No refund.
Refunds will be processed within 10-14 working days.
Intellectual Property
All content, logos, and visual media created by Kenge Expeditions Ltd. are protected by copyright laws. By joining our tour, you consent to being included in any photos or videos used for marketing purposes. If you prefer not to appear in our promotional materials, please inform us in writing.
